1. Introduction Primeshiners ("we," "our," or "the Platform") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and share the information you provide when using our website and booking platform to connect with independent auto detailing professionals ("Service Providers").
2. Information We Collect When you request a service, we collect the following categories of Personal Information:
Identifiers: Real name, phone number, email address, and service address. Mobile phone numbers are collected with explicit consent when you choose to receive SMS notifications.
Property Information: Vehicle make, model, color, and condition.
Commercial Information: Records of services purchased or considered.
Financial Information: Payment details (processed securely via our third party payment gateway; we do not store raw credit card numbers).
3. How We Use Your Information We use your information exclusively to operate the Platform and facilitate your requested services:
Routing: To dispatch your service request and location to an available independent Service Provider.
Secure Communications: We utilize a secure Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) proxy system. Your real phone number is masked to protect your privacy, and communication with the Service Provider is routed through our secure network.
Dispute Resolution: To process payments, handle customer support, and review "Before and After" service photos submitted by the Service Provider.
4. How We Share Your Information Primeshiners does not sell your Personal Information. We only share your data under the following circumstances:
With Service Providers: We share your first name, vehicle details, and service address with the independent Service Provider assigned to your booking solely so they can perform the requested work.
With SMS Service Providers: We share your mobile phone number with our SMS messaging provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the SMS messages you have consented to receive. This information is never shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
Legal Compliance: If required by California or Federal law, or to protect the safety and property of Primeshiners, our users, or the public.
5. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA) Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to:
Know: Request disclosure of the specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you.
Delete: Request the deletion of your Personal Information from our systems (subject to certain exceptions, such as completing a pending transaction or legal compliance).
Non Discrimination: Receive equal service and pricing regardless of whether you exercise your privacy rights.
SMS opt-in is completely optional and is not required to book a service or use the Platform. You may book and complete a service request without consenting to SMS messages.
6. SMS Text Message Communications If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive SMS messages from Primeshiners, we will use your phone number solely to send you the categories of messages you have agreed to receive. These messages include, but are not limited to:
Appointment confirmations and reminders
Booking confirmations and schedule changes
Job dispatch and assignment notifications (for independent Service Providers)
Payment confirmations and invoice notifications
Customer service responses
How We Handle Your Mobile Information: We do not share, sell, lease, or rent your mobile phone number, SMS consent records, or mobile data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected through our SMS program is used exclusively for the operational purposes described above.
Your phone number may be shared with our SMS service provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering messages you have consented to receive, in accordance with their privacy practices.
Opting Out: You may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the STOP command, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. You may resume receiving messages at any time by replying START.
